The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) may have the possibility to grant a limited number of financial support for the participation of professionals from its Member States in Asia and Pacific Region at 5th International Symposium on the System of Radiological Protection , 17 – 21 November 2019, Adelaide, South Australia. The criteria for granting financial assistance by the IAEA are the following:
- Have a paper (“paper”), either oral or poster, accepted by the Scientific Committee, to be presented in the sessions of the Symposium. The works should be directly related to the thematic safety areas of the Symposium and objectives of the IAEA regional TC project RAS/9/089 ‘Strengthening Radiation Safety Infrastructure’.
- Coming from Member States that is actively participating in the IAEA TC Project RAS/9/089.
- Work in a national governmental or non-profit institution.
This financial assistance is only available for one participant per IAEA Member States in Asia and the Pacific Region.
The corresponding application must be made using the INTOUCH system (http://intouch.iaea.org), Ref. No.: SP-RAS9089-1903937 through the Project Counterparts and the NLO of each country, by early October, 2019.

The candidate must attach, in the same INTOUCH system, the summary of the scientific work to be presented, and afterwards the complete work. Likewise, you must attach the confirmation of acceptance to the Symposium.
The granting of financial support will be subject to the approval of the work to be submitted and the availability of funds.
