Dr. Nicole Martinez
Dr. Nicole Martinez, CHP,is an Assistant Professor at Clemson University. She received her M.S. and Ph.D. in Radiological Health Sciences from Colorado State University, specializing in health physics and radioecology. Prior to graduate school, she served in the United States Navy as a nuclear power instructor and radiation health officer. She serves on ICRP Committee 4 and is the president of the Women in Radiation Protection section within the Health Physics Society. She was the 2018 recipient of the Bo Lindell Medal from the ICRP and the 2019 recipient of the Elda E. Anderson Award from the HPS.
